This is the default theme/background color of the Google keyboard. It's just the greyed out background. All youve to do to is ope any note taking app or type a text in messages app.

1. Once you have launched the keyboard tap the Google logo above the keyboard to see the styles.
2. There are some basic background colors and as you scroll down there are few landscapes which needs downloading those background images.
3. Once you select a theme a dialogue appears, you can choose to have "Key borders".
4. You can toggle between the Key borders to see how the keyboard borders will display.
5. Once you select the style of keyboard. Tap on the APPLY button to make changes to the keyboard.

That's it! That should change the background of the GBoard or Google default keyboard.
